Over the past Four Years, Luke has published and led the creation of more than 20 Projects dedicated to Outdoor Learning within the Primary/Elementary and Secondary Education phases in addition to currently undertaking many more. Luke Parker
Luke Parker (HEA Fellow, doctoral student, University of Kansas [KU]) is a second-year Ph.D. student at KU and Educational Advisor for Outdoors Victoria.
After earning his B.Ed. in Australia, Luke was a schoolteacher and then a Higher Education lecturer at Australian Catholic University for five years. During that time, he designed and implemented 28 education units for thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students in ICT, PE, and Outdoor Education.
In addition to researching Outdoor Learning at the University of Kansas, Luke works for an Australian teaching association as the education advisor, creating teaching manuals for 24,000 teachers across Victoria, Australia, and is currently publishing his first book on Outdoor Learning.
